This is a painting done from one of my sister's many photos that she sends me. This is Emmy, a bit after she had had a litter of pups. She's a super sweet dog and this was fun to paint.

- I am a Charlotte, NC artist and I started my painting business while staying at home to raise my two boys. My undergraduate work in painting and illustration was spent exploring figures in all types of mixed media, but my love of dogs has captured my creative spirit. My current paintings are oil on canvas. I paint custom pet portraits, including cats, by commission and my non-commission work can be found on Etsy and on auction on eBay. Some of my fondest memories are painting along side my father in his studio where he taught me the basics of painting.
