I'm surprised that there doesn't seem to be a function where blog readers can request email notifications of blog updates. Am I wrong? If so, let me know. Anyway, I can add up to 10 email addresses on my end to receive notification via email when I post a new blog. If you are interested in being one of these 10, drop me a line.
Also, I changed the preference that requires a blog reader to have a google account to leave comments. Personally, I wouldn't want to sign up for a new account everytime something caught my attention on the web. There are already too many usernames and passwords to manage in life and there is little risk of trolls here.

there is a function...in your blogger layout settings..add a subscription link where your readers can enter their email and get new articles directly sent to them!
